2009 Suzusho Surpasse V Sports Car is not intended to be a replica.

2009 Suzusho Surpasse V

Suzusho are a Japanese kit car company who since 2004 have been making Lotus 7 replicas for the Japanese market. At the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show Suzusho are planning on unveiling their first in-house designed vehicle, the Surpasse V.This is the second car show of extremely high performance closed sports car Supasse V. Director Toshio Suzuki was a Racing driver. He and his two sons and his professional staff has been to designing and manufacturing sports car using 3D CAD systems for many years.
2009 Suzusho Surpasse V

For such a small outfit and niche sports car maker the Surpasse V is a surprisingly good looking motor. Sure there are some elements which could do with attention - more specifically the sealed-beam headlight units which are crudely molded into the bodywork - but overall it's not a bad looking little sports car. Lots of people will point out the styling similarities with the Ferrari Enzo, and rightly so as there is obviously some Enzo influences in there. But at the same time it's clear this is not intended to be a replica, it just borrows a few shapes from one of the best supercars of all time. The monocoque chassis and the suspension is designed by Suzusho. The rear sub frame is bolt on and is easily replaceable. The Suppasse-V is the closest thing on the road that is equal to a competitive racing car which, can be seen at Le-mans and many other circuits.
2009 Suzusho Surpasse V

The Body is shaped and designed by the famous Kenji Mimura, who is well known for Dome Zero and Le-mans cars in Japan. We are very pleased to present to you with satisfaction the Supasse V.Mounted behind the two-seat passenger compartment is a 2.3 litre, turbocharged, inline 4-cylinder engine lifted from the Mazda3 MPS. Producing a respectable 270 horsepower @ 5,500 rpm, and 380 Nm of torque @ 3,000 rpm this unit should offer pretty impressive performance considering the Surpasse V only weighs 850 kgs (1,873 lbs).
2009 Suzusho Surpasse V

It's doubtful whether the Suzusho will be offering the Surpasse V outside of Japan. So it looks like the car will be mainly battling against the likes of the Tommy Kaira ZZ and Vemac RD180.

2010 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet come with all of the features

2010 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet

Today, Ford Racing unveiled the 2010 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show, which marks the continued evolution of the CJ as a factory-produced turnkey race car. In honor of the SEMA introduction, Ford Racing built and unveiled a one-of-a-kind "SEMA Special" silver Ford Mustang Cobra Jet complete with a charcoal Cobra Jet graphics package.
"With the 2010 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet, we had the luxury of a longer development cycle and the result is absolutely stunning. Where the 2008 Cobra Jet was an extremely potent starting point for NHRA Stock competition, the 2010 will enhance the car further. We are all excited to see the new Ford Mustang Cobra Jet in competition."
For decades, the Mustang has been the preeminent car in many forms of racing, including drag racing. The 2008 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet added to that legacy this season with high- profile wins at the NHRA Winternationals and U.S. Nationals, and by setting numerous track records across the country............................2010 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet

The 2010 Cobra Jet, like its predecessor, is a factory-built race car that is intended for NHRA Stock and Super Stock racing. The goal for the 2010 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet was to enhance the race features to further make its own place in NHRA history. The 2010 CJ will come with all of the features of the 2008 car with enhancements that include options for a full race-prepared automatic or manual transmission, drag race-specific shocks and springs, manual steering and brakes, 8.50 certified rollcage, and an Aeromitive return-style fuel system with trunk-mounted fuel cell.
Additionally Ford Racing engineers have developed for the 2010 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet a factory-first launch control/rev limiter that will allow drivers to preset the rpm after they stage the car. When they are ready to leave, all they do is put the throttle pedal to the floor; they don't have the engine speed to free rev. Previously, the launch control/rev limiter was only available as an aftermarket option............................2010 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet

Much like Ford Racing's previous Mustang FR500S race car, the Cobra Jet Mustang will get its start at the Auto Alliance International (AAI) assembly plant in Flat Rock, Mich. The entire 50-car run of 2010 Cobra Jets will be built on the same production line that produces the 2010 Ford Mustang production car. Production of Cobra Jets will commence in January, with delivery of all vehicles expected in the first quarter of 2010.
All of the additional parts and pieces for the CJ can be found in the Ford Performance Parts catalog. And since the Ford Mustang Cobra Jet is produced from a base V-6 Ford Mustang, any consumer can turn his Mustang into a Cobra Jet by purchasing the parts from the Ford Performance Parts catalog............................2010 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet

The 2010 CJ car features a choice for customers between two supercharged engines or three normally aspirated engines (pending NHRA approval). These options will allow the Ford Mustang Cobra Jet to be eligible for more classes in the NHRA, as well as competition with other sanctioning bodies, including NMRA, NMCA, PSCA and IHRA.
All 50 of the 2010 Cobra Jet Mustangs have already been ordered by Ford dealers for delivery to customers. For those customers who missed out on the limited run of 2010 Cobra Jets, Ford Racing has set a goal to provide future versions of the Ford Mustang Cobra Jet.

Racing Car Honda Indy project Concept Car by Yutian Li, the vehicle's designer.

Honda Indy Racing Car

Racing Car Honda Indy project concept has been designed to offer superior aerodynamic performance.
The
Honda and the Indy Racing League was sponsored by Honda Indy Racing Car project. Yutian Li,the vehicle's designer, is a graduate of the Transportation Design course at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan. Yutian also holds a bachelors degree in vehicle engineering and a masters in industrial design from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China.
The overall shape of the
Honda Indy Racing Car was inspired by modern architecture - but more specifically Zaha Hadid's work which is greatly influenced by topological patterns found in nature and has a high degree of fluidity and continuity. Yutian applied this theme to vehicle design by using a combination of blended surfaces, and crossing/overlapping shapes in order to bring a whole new look to the future Indy Car Series.

Honda Indy Racing Car

Aside from bringing completely new forms to the racing world, the
Honda Indy Racing Car has also been designed to offer superior aerodynamic performance. The large integrated rear wing located above the engine creates downforce over the rear axle. This downforce is increased once the engine is up at operating temperature because of the pressure difference between hot and cold air. The side panel directs the air to go around the wheels so that rotating drag is reduced. The air box on either side of the driver and the large air intakes in the front ensure sufficient airflow to the engine.
As with all racing vehicles, driver safety in the event of a crash is the utmost priority. The driver of the
Honda Indy Racing Car concept is protected by a structure which was inspired by the shape of leaves. This unit is designed to diffuse the energy of the collision, and at the same time keep the interior cockpit structure intact.
Aside from keeping the rear tires firmly in contact with the track surface, the expansive rear spoiler also acts as a prominent billboard which could make the Indy series more attractive to sponsors. The stripe which divides this spoiler in two contains a thermally sensitive material which changes color depending on engine temperature. This is designed to add more excitement to the race and the spectators.
